‘Friends of Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter’ is a group of volunteers who seek the “extras” for the dogs and cats in care at Hawkesbury Pound.

They visit the pound twice a week to take photographs and temperament tests of the animals to post on their Facebook page of over 25,000 people, to help find homes for the animals.

IGA Australia & Mint Fresh IGA visited Westmead Hospital to present an Aerogen Nebuliser valued at $2,670. This was presented at the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead with the Humpty Dumpty Foundation for the Children.

The Unicorn Foundation – World NET Day ‘Coffee Cups for Cancer’ awareness campaign

WHAT: Mint Fresh IGA & Café will have ‘NETS World Day’ branded takeaway coffee cups to start the conversation about NETS ‘Neuroendocrine Tumours’. We will also have a donation tin for donations.

To raise awareness on World NET Cancer Day, November 10, the Unicorn Foundation along with INCA (International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance) embarked on ‘Lets talk about NETS’ campaign.

The Unicorn Foundation is the only Australian not-for-profit medical charity focused on neuroendocrine tumours (NET).
